PDGT Announces Next Generation Fisker Pro

GEORGETOWN, Mass., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Paradigm Tactical Products, a leading provider of non-lethal defense and homeland security solutions to corrections, law enforcement and the security industry, announced today it is developing the next generation of its patented FriskerPro®, the world's only hand worn metal detection device. The FriskerPro is worn like a glove and improves upon the police pat-down search technique, by eliminating direct contact with the suspect. Unlike traditional 'wand' style detectors, the FriskerPro allows officers to retain full use of their hands, improving the officer's ability to respond to events as they unfold.

Since the initial release of the original FriskerPro in 2002, thousands of units have been sold.

Based on end-user feedback, the FriskerPro is being redesigned to be lighter, more durable, and with increased functionality to meet evolving customer needs. These enhancements will allow even greater application of the Frisker Pro's patented technology to potential non security industry markets that may include schools or live performance venues. The Company anticipates the new version of the Frisker Pro to be available in 2006.
